Baking Bread for Easter In The La Cloche®
Posted by Candi Carey on Mar 19th 2021
This has been a wild and unique year: I know that I have stepped up my cooking game quite a bit and my family has benefited greatly. They are loving trying out all of the new recipes that I have been trying. Especially baking recipes. This Easter will be no different. My children and husband are already looking forward to their Easter dinner.
Baking Bread for Easter
I have an entire meal planned out for Easter this year, but I’m most excited about the Italian Easter Bread that I recently found the recipe for!
Italian Easter Bread
If you really want to step up your Easter food game this year, I highly recommend checking out this Italian Easter Bread. It is really going to add a gorgeous addition to your table for the holiday.
It is a festive bread that is slightly sweet and colorful which is perfect for the spring holiday. You can create your own design and add your own colors to it as you go. If you plan to have guests over for Easter, they are going to be wowed by the looks of this bread. Recipe by Julia Gavin, Culinary Scientist.
Side Dishes
I am seriously so excited to make this Easter Bread and cannot wait to show off the finished product to my family on Easter! I do plan to feed them more than just bread though, so if you are interested in more Easter ideas, the rest of our Easter meal this year will include the following recipes that I am very excited to try:
I will definitely be breaking out the kitchen appliances to make these delicious garlic mashed potatoes. Mostly because I need a big batch of it or else it is going to disappear too quickly. Honestly, it’s still going to disappear quickly, but at least with a big batch some of the family will be able to snag seconds of this savory side that is always a hit at my holiday table. Recipe by A Meal in Mind.
If you don’t have ham at the dinner table, is it even Easter? Okay, maybe that’s exaggerating just a bit, but I cannot remember an Easter when we didn’t have ham for Easter. These 8 (count 'em, eight!) recipes by Bon Appétit are mouth watering and easy to make. The choice is yours!
This green beans recipe by Borrowed Bites will be a year-round hit for your family member that say "I don't like vegetables." With smokey bacon, savory onions, and garlic, what's not to like?
Dessert
Just for fun and because it will make the kids happy, I will be making these colorful, cute and totally sweet super easy Easter cakes! The recipe by Ottawa Mommy Club is made with cake mix, so when they say easy, they definitely mean it. I think that I will bring the kids into the mix and have them bake these ones while I supervise. Oh the Easter fun we will have!
