Fun & Flavorful Christmas Brunch Ideas

Christmas is rapidly approaching, my friends. Are you hosting any holiday get-togethers? What recipes are you planning to make for your guests? While we do have dinner parties, and a nice Christmas dinner, we also often have a Christmas brunch. I love Christmas brunch! It is perhaps my favorite meal of the whole year!

The magic of Christmas is in full swing Christmas morning. Being awakened by the kids who are way too excited to open presents and enjoying a nice cup of coffee and snapping all of the pictures you can of the kids opening the gifts that they wished for is only the beginning.

The fun of hearing the children excitedly playing with their new toys and checking out their new stuff, the relaxing satisfaction that us parents get from seeing our happy children, the lights of the Christmas tree still lighting up the room, and Christmas music playing in the background is what I call a magical morning. I say let’s keep it going! Let’s have a delicious brunch that is worthy of Christmas.

A brunch so good that it is almost a gift in itself. Are you ready?

Because I love it so much, I like everyone else to love it too! That means that I put a lot of time and thought into the recipes that I prepare. For this year’s Christmas brunch, I want to have more than just the regular recipes that I throw together year after year.

I mean those are great, but my kids are getting bigger and will likely be helping in the kitchen this year and I really want to step up my game! These are the recipes that I am thinking about prepping for Christmas brunch this year.

Easy Breakfast Items

A great tool for baking this delicious recipe is the Superstone® Pie Baker.

Blueberry Pancake Recipe - This is such a delicious recipe! Not only is it delicious for pancake recipes, but it is also so so good for lovers of fresh fruit. This fresh, sweet and hearty meal is a good choice to keep on your brunch table this Christmas.

Frozen Yogurt Bark- This frozen yogurt bark is a great recipe to create and keep on hand for tasty snacking during the socializing phase of brunch. I always like to keep snacks and treats on hand so that everyone can enjoy chatting with others while we all wait for the main course to be done.

This frozen yogurt bark is almost like a dessert! Dessert before brunch? I think yes!

Freezer Challah Bread French Toast Sticks - Maybe it is just me, but I just don’t feel like you can have brunch without french toast. These Freezer Challah Bread French Toast Sticks are an awesome addition to the brunch table. So so good and so easy to make with the Superstone® Pie Baker.

Casseroles

Holiday Breakfast Casserole - If ever there was a meal that was perfect for a Christmas brunch, it is this delicious holiday breakfast casserole! If you are looking for an allergy free recipe, this is a great option as it is egg-free and gluten-free!

Overnight Bacon Breakfast Casserole- Another delicious casserole that will make everyone happy on Christmas morning! This Overnight Bacon Breakfast Casserole is perfect big brunch recipe that all bacon lovers will love to see on their brunch plate.

Both of these casserole dishes are easily made with the Superstone® Pie Baker.

Superstone® Pie Bakers & Accessories

If you want your casseroles to come out successfully, you'll need a Superstone® Pie Baker, great for making all sorts of dishes, from casseroles to pies to deep-dish pizzas and more!

And if you need accessories for cutting and serving your tarts and pies, look no further–– Sassafras® has a wood-handled spatula and a silicone-handled spatula for all your baking needs.

Plus, I love that you can prep it the night before so you won’t be doing all of the hard work on Christmas morning.

Because we all live very close, I always invite my husband’s family as well as mine to our Christmas brunch. They don’t all show up every year, but we do typically end up with about 10-12 people here, so I like to make bigger recipes so that everyone has plenty of tasty food to enjoy.

I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas, a delicious Christmas brunch and you end your holidays with a smile.
