Tips for Gluten Free Baking

Gluten free baking isn't as hard as it sounds. Once you get an idea of the ingredients and what it entails, it's actually quite easy.
Since trying to limit my family's gluten intake, I have been searching high and low for any easy tips on gluten free baking. I came across some awesome tips thanks to Fine Dining Lovers.
Check out these gluten free baking tips:
- Straight swap flour with rice or rice flour.
- Did you know that 1 cup gluten flour= 140 grams of gluten-free all purpose flour?
- Use a 40/60 ratio. 40% whole grains and 60% white flours.
- Use Guar Gum or Xanthan Gum as a substitute when making breads and cakes.
- Add baking powder to flour.
- Add extra egg white to dough.
- Sub buttermilk for milk
- Use brown sugar instead of white sugar.
