"Ziploc" Homemade Ice Cream

Ingredients make one serving each.



1 Cup Half and Half ( Or try ¾ cup of Half & Half and ¼ cup of whipping cream. The whipping cream makes it extra smooth and creamy.)
1-½ to 2 Tbsp. Sugar
½ tsp. Vanilla
1-gallon Ziploc baggies
1-quart Ziploc baggies
½ cup Rock salt


For each serving, add 1 cup of half and half, 2 Tbsp. of sugar, and 1/2 tsp. of vanilla. Add it all into a quart bag and seal it up tight.
Whipping cream does make the ice cream really creamy, but do not use whipping cream by itself, because it kind of whips up and doesn’t freeze as well.

Fill a gallon Ziploc bag halfway with ice and then add ½ cup rock salt and the quart baggie with the ice cream ingredients. Then shake it! Five minutes or more should be fine.

Try adding peanuts, M&Ms, berries, broken Oreos… There are so many possibilities, so experiment and have fun!
