Easy-Peasy Gluten-Free Bread

This recipe works best with our Superstone® La Cloche using our Bread Whisk.



2 tsp of kosher salt
2 ¼ teaspoons of instant yeast
4 cups of gluten-free flour, like almond Flour, buckwheat flour, or oat flour

2 tsp of honey
2 cups of water

2 eggs, lightly beaten for a fork or a whisk
1 tsp of white wine or cider vinegar
2 tbsp of neutral oil (or cooking oil, such as grapeseed oil)

Unsalted butter, softened


Preheat the oven to 425º F.

Whisk together the salt, flour, and yeast In a large bowl. In a medium separate bowl, stir together the water and honey and stir well. Then add the eggs, oil, and vinegar into the medium bowl. 

Add the ingredients from the medium bowl to the large bowl, mixing well with a spatula in order to form a batter.

Grease up a 2-quart bowl with the softened butter, smoothing the surface of the dough. 

Leave the bowl of dough to rise in a warm area of the kitchen for 25 to 50 minutes, until the top of the dough reaches the rim of the bowl.

Transfer the bowl of dough to the La Cloche® and bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the heat to 375º F and bake for 15 to 30 minutes more, or until the bread has a golden crust, then remove from the oven.

Let the bread cool for 20 minutes or so, then remove from the La Cloche® to cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.
