Easy No-Yeast Focaccia Bread
Best used with our Superstone® Covered Baker.
½ tsp salt
1 ½ tsp coarse sea salt
1 cup water
1 tbsp baking powder
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh rosemary
Preheat oven to 425° F. Grease the Covered Baker with a drizzle of olive oil, then preheat.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured surface, knead thoroughly for 1 minute.
Pat into a 1/2-inch-thick rectangle inside the Covered Baker (Caution: Baker is HOT). Poke indentations with your fingertips all over the top of the dough.
Brush the top of the dough with the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Sprinkle the top of the dough with rosemary and coarse sea salt. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cut into squares and serve warm.
