Easy No-Yeast Deep Dish Pizza
If you love a thick crust, you’ll love this Deep Dish Pizza recipe! This bread is best baked in our Superstone® Deep Dish Pizza Pie Baker.
1 ½ to 2 cups flour
½ tbs. salt
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
½ to ⅔ cup water, as needed
8 oz.(1 can) tomato sauce
Your favorite pizza toppings
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Oil the Superstone® Deep Dish Pizza Pie Baker, also preheat.
Mix the dry ingredients in a medium-size bowl, using 1 ½ cups flour. Add the first ½ cup of water and the oil or melted butter, mix the ingredients into a dough. Add more water if the dough is dry and stiff, more flour if the dough gets wet and sticky.
Turn out the dough onto a floured counter, knead for 3 or 4 minutes, until smooth-- then let the dough rest for 5 minutes.
Roll the dough into a thin circle large enough to line the Deep Dish Pizza Pie Baker. Spread on a layer of tomato sauce, add toppings generously.
Bake the pizza for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the toppings and cheese. The crust should turn a golden brown.
