Superstone® Use and Care
Easy No-Yeast Bread
This is a basic bread that won’t give you quite the brown crust you’re used to with a typical bread, but our Superstone® Bakers will help the bread develop a somewhat crackly crust.
This bread is best baked on one of our Superstones or the Superstone® Deep Dish Pizza Pie Baker.
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1 ⅓ cup milk
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375ºF and preheat the Superstone® Bakeware.
Combine the flour, salt and baking powder and mix well. Slowly add the milk, stirring until the milk is absorbed. Knead the dough a few times and form the dough into a ½ inch thick disc.
Using a bread lame, score the dough with an “x”. Place the dough into the preheated baker. Bake for 35-40 minutes. The bread will be pale in color and slightly browned around the edges. Best served warm with butter!
