Summer Water Fun for the Entire Family

Summer is here, that's mean it's time to get wet! Summer is such a fun time to enjoy water activities ranging from the beach to water parks. You can even enjoy water fun in the comfort of your own backyard or local splash parks. This is helpful when on a budget or saving money for an upcoming vacation.
Here are some some water fun ideas for you and your family this summer.
Snatch the Hose-One person will be in charge of spraying the hose at everyone. The goal is to not let anyone snatch the hose from you. Spray, spray, spray. The first to snatch the hose gets to hold and spray next and so forth and so forth. This is actually quite hilarious on top of being fun.
Water Balloon Fight-This is classic but so much fun. To mix it up a little bit, fill some balloons up with water and other balloons up with shaving cream. Messy fun!
Dump the Cup-This is actually tons of fun. Depending how many are playing, half lie down on the grass and the other half of players will be standing. Hand each standing player a plastic cup filled with water. Those that are lying down will each hold an empty plastic cup right on top of their bellies. Those standing that have water filled cups will hold the cup on their heads and bend forward and try to aim their water into the empty cups below them. Those lying down will get splashed pretty quickly as it's hard to aim the water perfectly if you are holding it on your head.
Squirt Gun Fights-Another classic water game, but you can take it up a notch. Break everyone up in teams. One team will have a squirt gun, the other team will be holding a piece of construction paper each. The goal for those with the quirt gun is to chase and spray the other team member's construction paper as a target. Those who have water stains on their paper is out.
Dodge Sponge-This is the same idea as dodge ball, except one player will have large wet sponges to throw. This is really fun and doesn't hurt like that of dodge ball. You also get a little wet!
