Homemade Valentine's Day Cards

Valentine's Day is just around the corner.  Here is a fun arts and crafts opportunity for you and your kiddies.  Forget about the store-bought ideas, go for making your own homemade Valentine's Day ideas.  Not only are they fun to make, they are the most remembered.

Creativity and possibilities are endless when it comes to a Valentine's Day card.  Here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing:

• Homemade heart picture frames
• Stained-glass window hearts
• Wall Art
• Bookmarks

The list could go on and on.  There is really no right or wrong way to make a Valentine's Day card.  Provide your kiddies with all of the supplies such as stickers, paint, glue, scissors, etc., and they can go to town and make amazing and memorable cards.

My favorite ideas are the ones that can be used as wall art.  One year my daughters made a picture with quotes.  It's now hanging on our wall.  It's more priceless than any store bought item.
