Entertain with Style and Ease with Italian Disposable Linens

When designing a table setting, be creative and use objects from your home to set a theme. During the Christmas holidays, choose a theme:

Elegant: Add lots of sparkles and candles so your table setting shimmers! Use sparkling candles, shimmery gold or silver ribbons, ornaments or beautiful angels along the center of your table. Or place a beautiful napkin atop each plate with an ornament on top.

For children: Add nutcrackers, a Santa, elves or candy canes. Show off that gingerbread house and use it as a centerpiece.

A woodsy theme: Place an evergreen garland or branches along the center of the table. Decorate it with pine cones, red berries, bird ornaments, small reindeer, or little stuffed owls. You can even decorate your pine cones with glitter to add some sparkle to your table setting.

During Hanukkah, enliven your table setting with decorations from your home. Spread chocolate gilt, or decorative dreidels over a blue runner on your table setting. You may even include a small instruction sheet at your children’s place setting and have fun discussing how to play the game. Or place glittery gold candles or even simple votives atop a blue or gold runner. You may even consider filling a glass bowl with blue ornaments and a sparkling gold wire ribbon as a garland along the center.

Here’s an idea for your holiday. Buy plain colored matte ball ornaments, one for each guest, and tie a ribbon to each. Have a silver or gold Sharpie pen on hand and write the year. Have each guest sign their name to each ornament and take home one that’s fully autographed. What a nice memory to hang on the tree each year! This is a great idea for New Year’s as well!
