Easy Crafts for Easter

Posted by

Spring is just about here!  With spring comes warmer temperatures, flowers, and more.  To celebrate the upcoming arrival of spring, celebrate with these Easter craft ideas for the entire family.  Since Easter seems to be on the earlier side of things this year, here are some quick yet easy crafts you can try together:

Puffy Paint Peeps-If you are a fan of the sweet treat Peeps, you will enjoy making puffy paint peeps.  Basically, just draw the popular peeps whether a bunnie or a chick. Puffy paint is so much fun.  I used this activity often with my preschool classes.  To get an idea of what it looks like, click here.

Paper Plate Easter Basket-This is a cute idea.  I am going to try this one with my preschool class in a couple weeks. Click here, for more details.

Mini Easter Baskets-This is quick and easy, but sure to be a hit.  All you need are muffin cups, pipe cleaners, Easter grass, and small Easter candies like jelly beans, etc.  Purchase the muffin cups and pipe cleaners in spring and Easter colors.  Just staple on your pipe cleaner handle onto the muffin cups.  Add a little bit of Easter grass then toss in some little Easter candies.  If you put too much, the handle will break.  A

Egg Decorating with Straws-Instead of dying Easter eggs this year, what about doing something completely different while still adding that festive and fun design with a twist?  Dip the ends of a straws in different colors of tempura paint and stamp on all over the egg.  When it is dry, it looks pretty neat.  Click here, to see an example.
