Chores for Kids by Ages

Have you ever wondered what chores are age appropriate when it comes to the kiddies? This has been the topic of conversation in our home for the past few weeks, especially with the new school year just getting started.

I found a great resource with chore suggestions per age. Only you know the tasks your child is capable of doing. I found it helpful when the older sibling and the younger sibling work together on one chore as it encourages team work and teaches the younger child how to properly do the chore.

For example, gathering the indoor trash in preparation for garbage day. My oldest child (13) gathers the trash while my younger child (7) sorts all of the recycling items. This has been very helpful! It has become a nice chore routine for trash day.
