Baked Sweet Potato Chips
- 2 peeled sweet potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt or sea salt (optional)
(Cook time: 90-mins - 2hrs)
After preheating the oven to 250ºF and placing your Superstone® Pizza Stone in the center of the oven, rinse and dry your sweet potatoes and slice them as thinly as possible.
Use a very sharp knife, potato chip slicer or mandoline to get these uniformly thin. Know that chips that are too thick in parts won't be completely crisp (Not that there’s anything wrong with that).
Mix the olive oil and salt together in a bowl, then toss in the sweet potatoes and mix them up to lightly coat. Spread them out on your Superstone® Pizza Stone.
Bake until brown and crisp for about 45-60 minutes, then flip them over for another 45-60 minutes. Take them out and let them crip for another 10 minutes. Serve them hot and enjoy.
