Halloween Baking with Sassafrass!

Posted by

Halloween is coming, Halloween is coming! That’s right, in just a few short weeks, it will be time to start getting costumes ready, candy prepped and goodies baked for this frightfully fun holiday! That “Halloween is coming” chant? Yeah, that is what my kids have been saying for weeks, but I’m going to be honest with you, I haven’t even started my Halloween shopping for my kids. Not one single bit of preparation has been done yet. Does that make me a bad mom?

Cookies and cupcakes are the treats of choice around here and the kids and I have a lot of fun baking both of these classic goodies. We do a thing though, where the cupcakes and cookies we bake have a holiday theme to them and we go all in with it! For Valentines Day we do hearts, for Christmas we do trees and snowmen, for Thanksgiving we do turkeys and for Halloween we do a little bit of everything. Thankfully, Sassafrass has just about every design of baking kit we can ask for! We can just go with the Halloween usuals or we can coordinate our baking with our costumes! I mean, how fun is it for a little princess to bring princess cookies to a party or a little wizard prepping some wizard treats? It’s so much fun!

Check these out:

We make these cookies and cupcakes to enjoy at home, to give to friends and family, to sell at bake sales and to bring along to Halloween parties and get togethers (my personal favorite). If you are looking for some awesome cookies and cupcakes to make with these kits, here are some great ones that you are going to love!

Lofthouse - This lofthouse cookie recipe is specifcially geared toward Valentines day, but you can use any cookie cutters and any food colors that you make these the best Halloween Cookies ever! These are so delicious, you are going to love them!

Black and White Cookies - These Black and White Cookies are keto friendly for all of my readers out there following a keto diet. They are already the perfect colors, so all you need to do is use our fun cookie cutters to make these cookies perfectly fit for the holiday!

Jason Mask Cupcakes - Okay, I love scary movies. I have since I was a teen, but Friday the 13th is one of the scary movies that I always feared. While it may seem a bit juvenile, I was a bit hesitant to make these. I mean, IT’S JASON! But I will say, these cupcakes are delicious and perfect for any scary movie fans!

Creature in the Wall Halloween Cookies - These scary cookies will get your guests talking! The creature in the wall is scary in every movie you see, but man, to see it on a cookie plate is a bit unnerving.

Chocolate Skeleton Cookies - Umm..hello, they are chocolate! Okay, seriously though, I love chocolate so anytime I can bake some chocolate cookies, I am in! The fact that they are little skeletons just makes them even more fun for the holiday.

Have fun baking, my friends!
